Scott Jones

Known as Sexy Scott

Introduced by Steve in 2021, Scott arrived with far more experience of rugby than football but quickly became Lesbie Avenue’s most relentless runner. His greatest weapon is his fitness. Scott runs quickly, runs constantly and keeps the game in the opposition half, whether or not this produces any goals. His powerful shots have two destinations: the corner of the net or an entirely different postcode. He never dwells on a miss, though, and is soon back in position to try again. When Scott decides he will score, goals usually follow. He hit hat-tricks in each of the first two annual 11-a-side derbies and became the club’s leading scorer in the current campaign. Known as “Sexy Scott” by the O’Neill’s staff—to his delight—he is a vocal, physical and dependable teammate. His greatest opponent is his ankle, which has surrendered several times. A devoted rugby fan, Scott supports Manchester City mainly because of Jack Grealish.
